WATERCOLORS

An entirely different method of painting than acrylic, where one usually moves from darks to lights in building images, watercolors build from lights to darks. Less messy and toxic than oil paints, watercolors are easy to mix, travel with, and wash off hands, clothes, and tables. There are challenging traditional methods, and a variety of ways to capture reality and imagination. As happens with most creative processes, painting is a terrific way to escape into another world.
