GRAPHIC DESIGN
I sold my first design project in 1966, the era of the psychedelic album covers and posters. The subsequent decades brought many design challenges and a wonderful array of clients from mom-and-pop local businesses to regional and national organizations. It's been a great ride that isn't yet over! Today, the clients are mostly seeking website development, along with a variety of print promotion materials.
FINE ART
Typography, the ancient art of block printing, and the joy of abstract spewing of color on paper have always intrigued me. That interest continues and has been invigorated in recent years. Intaglio, relief printing, monoprint and monotype, along with pencil, charcoal, and pen-and-ink illustration are fulfilling outlets. Single works, and edition prints are currently available for sale.
FUN AND GAMES
Life can't be simply about hard work and serious endeavor, but is enriched through pursuit of unbounded joy, interaction with good people, and being involved with activities that benefit others around us. My wife, Karen-Michele and I try to engage with friends, family, and our furry children in a variety of activities locally and internationally with the hope of finding the best that every day can bring.
